What does a monthly bookkeeper actually do?
Every month your transactions are categorized, your bank and credit card accounts are reconciled, and your QuickBooks Online file is kept accurate. You get a profit and loss statement and balance sheet each month, plus a short check-in call.
I'm months or years behind on my books. Can you catch me up?
Yes. Catch-up work starts at $1,500 depending on how far behind you are, and you can pay in installments.
Do I need QuickBooks Online?
Yes, Moody Bookkeepers works in QuickBooks Online only. If you don't have it, setup is $400 and Adam sets it up for you.
What do I need to send each month?
Very little. Once your accounts are connected, you'll occasionally send a receipt or answer a quick question.
Can you get my books ready for my tax preparer?
Yes. You get clean year-end reports your tax preparer can work from, and a referral to a trusted tax partner if you need one.
Do you work with businesses outside San Diego?
Yes, anywhere in California remotely, and in person in San Diego.
